What You'll Do
- Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for orthopedic patients.
- Document evaluations, treatments, and progress notes accurately and in a timely manner.
- Supervise and collaborate with therapy technicians to provide outstanding patient care.
- Maintain productivity expectations while delivering exceptional clinical outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with documentation, billing, and regulatory standards.
- Educate patients on home exercise programs using our preferred patient education platform.
- Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare providers regarding patient progress.
- Assist with daily clinic operations as needed to support an efficient team environment.
- Participate in continuing education, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
- Help foster a positive, collaborative culture focused on clinical excellence and exceptional patient experiences.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctoral level degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university required
- Minimum two years’ experience in a physician office or orthopedic setting (new graduates must demonstrate superior ability to perform through a clinical affiliation or by other comparable means)
- Active Physical Therapy license in the state of Tennessee
- Extensive training in orthopedic care and manual therapy preferred
- Management experience preferred
- Extensive knowledge in exercise physiology, biomechanics and exercise prescription
- Ability to manage treatment of multiple patients, administer appropriate modalities and supervise technicians
- Working knowledge of billing issues, CPT codes and basic knowledge of insurance related issues
- Comfortable effectively using MS office programs such as MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook
- Great verbal and written communication
- Neat and professional appearance
- Able to maintain company legal and professional confidentiality requirements across employees, patients, and clients
