Elite Sports Medicine Orthopedics is seeking a dependable and patient-focused Front Desk Specialist to join our Midtown team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment, interacting directly with patients, and providing exceptional customer service.
This is a full-time position based in our Midtown office. Occasional travel to other clinic locations, including Centennial, Green Hills, Brentwood, and Franklin, may be required to assist with coverage needs.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
- Complete patient registration and check-in processes accurately and efficiently
- Verify patient demographic and insurance information while ensuring required documentation is accurately scanned and maintained within the EMR
- Confirm required registration forms, records, and consents are completed before patients are seen by clinical staff
- Collect patient payments for balances, co-pays, and durable medical equipment (DME) items as needed
- Provide operator coverage by directing incoming phone calls appropriately
- Support administrative and medical records workflows including scanning and document filing
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality at all times
- Perform additional clerical and administrative duties as needed
