About the Role
As a Physical Therapy Assistant at MPOWER, you’ll work closely with Physical Therapists to deliver exceptional patient care in an outpatient orthopedic setting. You’ll also collaborate with personal trainers, massage therapists, and nutrition specialists to support a comprehensive, integrated care model.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans, including therapeutic exercise, manual techniques (as appropriate), and modalities
- Support accurate and timely documentation within our EMR system
- Provide patient education and home exercise instruction using clinic-approved software
- Help maintain a productive caseload aligned with company standards
- Collaborate with Therapy Technicians to ensure smooth clinic flow
- Participate in scheduled staff meetings and training sessions
- Maintain a consistent clinic schedule and uphold MPOWER’s standards of care
- Assist the Clinic Manager with projects or tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current Tennessee PTA license
- Experience in outpatient orthopedics or sports medicine preferred (new graduates with strong clinical rotations encouraged to apply)
- Familiarity with EMR systems and basic MS Office applications
- Strong understanding of therapy documentation and payer requirements
- Professional, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality across all patient and employee interactions
- Neat, professional appearance and excellent communication skills
