Key responsibilities include performing cycle counts, receiving and processing shipments, verifying inventory records, investigating discrepancies, and coordinating with other departments.

Inventory Tracking and Control:
- Monitor tool inventory levels, identifying and resolving discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
- Perform regular cycle counts and full physical inventories to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Receiving incoming shipments, verify them against purchase orders, and properly store items.
- Prepare outgoing orders for shipment and manage returns.
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming tool shipments in designated locations.
- Monitor tooling stock to prevent shortages or overstocking and initiate reorder requests as needed.
- Monitor rubber goods ensuring compliance with testing requirements.
- Manage and monitor safety cage inventories.
- Process tool returns from customers or departments, returning them to stock or preparing them for repair.
- Process tools in need of repair and track their status with the repair department or vendor.
- Analyze inventory data and generate reports to inform management decisions and identify inefficiencies.
- Research and report on root causes for inventory discrepancies and recommend solutions.
- Work with other departments to ensure smooth material flow and address issues.
- Pre-plan and identify the methods to eliminate hazards daily by work task.
- Execute skill in observing habits and hazards of others and bringing it to their attention.
- Uphold safety as the most important goal of our company. Support goal of achieving zero accidents.
- Promote and encourage open communication between field and office regarding all safety concerns, suggestions, improvements, and PPE needed.
- Obtain safety training as expected by all company personnel.
- High School diploma required.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- Previous experience in inventory management, logistics, or warehouse operations is required.
- Positive safety attitude and personal integrity – both are non-negotiable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and experience with inventory management software.
- Strong organization skills, keen attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication.
- Knowledge of tool/equipment tracking software preferred.
- Knowledge of construction industry tools preferred.
- Knowledge of Lean practices to ensure continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of the newest technologies to expedite distribution.
- Ability to maintain a consistent workload.
- Ability to perform moderate manual labor in tool handling.
- Must lift up to 50 pounds.
- Office environment requiring sitting and standing.
- Frequent time spent in office warehouse coordinating tools, exposing employee to noise and moving machinery.
- Frequent travel to various construction sites is essential, exposing employee to outdoor elements, noise and the need to stand and walk
