Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute renovation plans.
- Manage all aspects of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating tradespeople and suppliers.
- Perform detailed construction inspections to ensure adherence to safety standards, building codes, and project specifications.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for tasks such as framing, drywall installation, flooring, tile laying, and finishing.
- Execute various renovation tasks including carpentry (trim, frame, door hanging), masonry (concrete finishing, stucco), roofing, plumbing, electrical work, and painting.
- Operate heavy equipment safely when required for demolition or material handling on-site.
- Conduct quality control checks on materials like glass, cabinetry, concrete forms, and hardscape elements to guarantee durability and aesthetic appeal.
- Document project progress with detailed reports and communicate updates clearly to clients and team members.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in renovation or remodeling projects.
- Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating.
- Hands-on experience with a wide range of construction trades including carpentry (trim, frame), masonry (concrete forming), roofing, drywall installation, flooring (tile & flooring installation), plastering, welding, and restoration.
- Proficiency with Bluebeam software for digital plan review and project documentation.
- Knowledge of construction inspection procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Familiarity with plumbing systems, electrical wiring, caulking techniques, glass installation, cabinet installation, hardscape design, and masonry work.
- Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently; experience with heavy equipment operation is a plus.
- Strong understanding of construction schematics and technical drawings for precise execution of projects.
