Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Community Habilitation
Mozaic is seeking Community Habilitation Direct Support Professionals. Community Habilitation (Com Hab) staff support people in becoming more actively engaged in their communities by offering opportunities to build connections, develop independence, and enhance daily living skills.
Community Habilitation offers a variety of skill-building activities, such as cooking classes to promote meal preparation skills, as well as assistance with attending medical appointments, managing finances, and improving cleaning and organizational abilities.
In addition to these supports, Community Habilitation also plans recreational outings to encourage social engagement and community participation. These outings may include trips to the zoo, museums, amusement parks, theater performances, movies, and other enjoyable activities.
Pay Rate: $16.75-$18.50 per hour based on experience!
Location: Seneca Falls, New York
Direct Support Professional (DSP) Schedule:
Monday - Friday, occasional weekends between hours 8am-5pm
35 Hours per Week
Hours are flexible for mornings and evenings
Direct Support Professional (DSP) Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Minimally, one year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities or an associate degree in human services or a related field is required.
A Valid Driver's License is required.
