Mozaic (A Chapter of The Arc NY) is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and community-focused Employment Specialist to join our team in Fulton, NY. As an Employment Specialist, you'll empower people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to explore career opportunities, build workplace skills, and achieve meaningful employment. You'll serve as a coach, mentor, advocate, and resource, helping people gain confidence and develop the tools they need to succeed both on and off the job.
In this rewarding role, you'll work directly with people we support to create individualized employment plans, develop resumes, complete job applications, strengthen interviewing skills, and identify career opportunities that align with their interests and strengths. You'll also build relationships with local employers and community partners, creating new pathways for employment and community involvement.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Experience supporting people with developmental disabilities preferred.
- Valid New York State Driver's License required.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 4 PM (hours may vary depending on needs)
The position is 37.5 hours per week
Pay Rate: 18.75 - $21.50 per hour based on experience!
