Direct Support Professional – Community Habilitation
Full-Time, Part Time Opportunities!
Arc of Onondaga is seeking compassionate and motivated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) providing Community Habilitation services to adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. This role focuses on fostering independence, skill development, community exploration, and meaningful relationships through personalized, one-on-one or small group support.
Community Habilitation includes a wide range of activities, which include: assisting with errands, exercising outdoors, developing financial management skills, participating in leisure activities, engaging in volunteer work, and more.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid NYS driver's license and reliable vehicle (expected/required to be used during service hours)
Passion for empowering individuals with disabilities
Positive, proactive approach to skill-building and community engagement
