The VB Technician is responsible for the assembly of various valve bodies to support our build process. This person must have the ability to read, follow and interpret documents such as operating and inspection instructions, component diagrams and procedure manuals. While performing the duties of this position, the technician is regularly required to stand for extended periods of time, and must also be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspects components for quality, cleanliness and integrity
- Sorts, organizes and inventories components
- Interprets and follows written and digital inspection instructions
- Works with Cell Assembly, management and others to identify and reduce number of departmental escapes
- Works with management and other support staff to institutionalize new or revised inspection criteria as needed
- Ensures the highest levels of quality in work
- Other duties may be assigned
- Able to diagnose problems in Valve Body units

Education/Experience:
HS Diploma
3-5 years in a manufacturing role within a similar type production/manufacturing environment.
