An industrial automation company is seeking a Sales Professional with a strong hunter mentality to identify opportunities, open doors, and win new business.

This role is ideal for someone who understands manufacturing, enjoys prospecting, and can connect customers’ production challenges with automation solutions.

The Opportunity

• Develop new business through targeted prospecting, networking, referrals, and direct outreach.
• Build relationships with engineering, operations, plant leadership, and purchasing decision-makers.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency through automation.
• Partner with technical and engineering teams to develop solutions, proposals, and presentations.
• Own the sales process from initial contact through negotiation and close.
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline with consistent follow-up and accurate forecasting.

What We’re Looking For

• A demonstrated track record of winning new customers and generating new revenue.
• Experience selling industrial automation, robotics, custom machinery, systems integration, or related technical solutions.
• The ability to understand manufacturing applications and communicate the business value of a proposed solution.
• Strong prospecting, relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills.
• A self-directed professional who brings urgency, persistence, and accountability.
• Comfort working through technical sales cycles in partnership with engineers.
