Movement Search and Delivery is partnering with a leading CPG company in Novi, MI, to identify and evaluate a Financial Analyst.
On-Site / Hybrid / Remote:
On-site, 5 days per week
Reports to the Finance Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain customer-level profit and loss (P&L) models to evaluate revenue, costs, and profitability.
- Prepare monthly customer profitability reports and analyze trends and variances against budget and prior periods.
- Evaluate pricing, volume, cost inflation, and contract terms to support customer negotiations and new business opportunities.
- Analyze promotional spending and measure return on investment to identify opportunities to improve margins.
- Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting, including sales volume, pricing, and promotional spending assumptions.
- Develop and improve financial dashboards and recurring reports to provide visibility into business performance.
- Partner with Finance and Sales teams to communicate findings, explain profitability trends, and support commercial decisions.
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial reporting, improve data accuracy, and automate recurring analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Experience in financial analysis, FP&A, commercial finance, or financial modeling preferred.
- Strong Excel skills and the ability to analyze large datasets and build financial models.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to communicate financial insights clearly to both Finance and non-Finance stakeholders.
- Experience with Power BI, ERP systems, or reporting automation is a plus.
- Background in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment is preferred.
