Environmental Engineer

Movement Search and Delivery is working with a leading manufacturer in Gallatin, TN to identify and evaluate an Environmental Engineer

About the Role: Join a world-class manufacturing team where you will drive environmental excellence and ensure flawless compliance across plant operations. This role offers the opportunity to lead critical environmental initiatives, safeguard regulatory adherence, and make a tangible impact on sustainability and safety. You will serve as the key technical expert supporting the facility’s environmental performance while partnering with leadership and external agencies.

What You Will Do:

• Lead environmental compliance, permitting, and technical support for the Gallatin plant
• Maintain and update all environmental permits, records, metrics, and regulatory reporting
• Manage hazardous waste programs, spill response, disposal coordination, and required training
• Develop and deliver environmental training to ensure ISO 14001 and regulatory compliance
• Serve as primary contact for agencies, consultants, and vendors during inspections and negotiations
• Drive continuous improvement projects related to environmental equipment and best practices

What You Need to Succeed:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or related engineering field
• 3–5 years of environmental experience, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting
• Strong knowledge of environmental permitting and recordkeeping requirements
• Working knowledge of ISO 14001, OSHA, EPA, DOT, and related regulations
