Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Billing & Credentialing Specialist to support our growing operations, with a strong focus on EPREP (Maryland Medicaid system). This part-time role is ideal for someone who understands ABA billing workflows and can independently manage credentialing and claims processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage provider credentialing and re-credentialing through EPREP (Maryland Medicaid)
- Submit and track applications for new providers and group enrollments
- Ensure compliance with state and payer requirements
- Handle ABA billing processes including claim submission, follow-ups, and denials
- Oversee general credentialing processes across payers
- Maintain and update CAQH profiles for all providers
- Support payer contracting and maintain contract records
- Work closely with the billing company to ensure accuracy and resolve issues
- Work closely with leadership to ensure timely authorizations and accurate billing
- Maintain organized records of credentialing and billing documentation
- Troubleshoot issues related to EPREP enrollment and claims processing
- Proven experience with EPREP (Maryland Medicaid) – required
- Background in ABA billing and credentialing – strongly preferred
- Knowledge of Medicaid and commercial insurance processes
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Monday through Friday
- 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM EST
- $22–$28 per hour (based on experience)
