What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Benefits Coordinator position at Mountaire Farms?
Job Description
This position reports to the Corporate Benefits Manager and is an exempt position. This role requires the ability to manage multiple areas of focus with little supervision. Principle areas of responsibilities shall include but aren’t limited to:
General Clerical - Provide general administrative support to the Benefits Department. This includes, but is not limited to answering the phone, maintaining department supplies, coordinating all shipments, and overseeing the annual Guideposts renewal.
Responsible for handling all locations’ newly eligible insurance enrollment labels and letters for mailing of health enrollment documents. Prepare tracking spreadsheets and s end insurance packets to new enrollees and court ordered dependents.Manage document supply for plan documents and forms for packets.
Responsible for monthly budget reconciliation and Director of Corporate Benefits’ Expense Report preparation.
Responsible for the postage machine including communications of postage increases; ordering supplies; scheduling maintenance as needed; maintaining adequate postage funds; monthly reconciliation of all department usage; and maintain good working knowledge of the postage machine settings.Train new employees on the use of the machine.
Assist, as directed, with coordinating company functions including quarterly luncheons, Family Day, Thanksgiving luncheon, Christmas party, employee appreciation, and anniversary celebrations as needed. Create birthday cards and banners for Corporate employees and select employees at the locations.
Corporate Forms – Responsible for fulfilling orders for corporate forms and Benefits Orientation books/folders including obtaining quotes and coordinating printing and shipping.
Retirement Plan – Assist with daily administration of the retirement plan timely approval of distribution requests.
On-Site and Off-Site Health Clinics – Manage the procurement process for clinic marketing giveaways.
Mail Outs – Coordinate all department mail outs which includes obtaining quotes for printing and handling postage for mailing.Responsible for coordinating NCOA address updating with locations.
Service Awards – Assist with the administration of Service Award program.Oversee the ordering and distribution of the service award certificates and 1 year awards.Serves as liaison between the locations and our vendor for login and order issues.
Relief Support - Assist with front desk lunch relief, vacation relief and sick day relief.Serve as the backup for Corporate Forms maintenance and posting.
