Role Description
The Residential Manager will oversee day-to-day operations of residential facilities, ensuring a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This full-time, on-site position is based in Glenwood Springs, CO. Responsibilities include managing staff, coordinating services, overseeing budgeting and financial operations for residential programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and fostering effective communication with residents, staff, and families. The Residential Manager will also lead training initiatives to support and develop their team. This position works hands on with clients with IDD and may work with bodily fluids and behaviors.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Communication and People Management to effectively lead a team and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Experience in overseeing Residential Real Estate operations and ensuring a comfortable and safe living environment.
- Proficiency in Budgeting and financial management to manage residential program finances efficiently.
- Prior experience with Training and mentoring staff to enhance their professional skills and abilities.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to foster a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Familiarity with regulations and guidelines related to intellectual and developmental disabilities is an asset.
- Bachelor's degree in social work, human services, business management, or a related field preferred.
