Summit Supports
Who We Are
Summit Supports is a relationship-driven organization dedicated to helping adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities live full, independent, and self-directed lives. We are a small, highly collaborative team that believes meaningful support starts with strong connections—both within our team and with the individuals and families we serve.
We value integrity, communication, and the ability to adapt while keeping people at the center of every decision.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a Residential Manager to guide and strengthen our residential services across multiple settings, including Family Caregiver supports, Host Home, and Independent Living environments.
This position is a great fit for someone who thrives on building meaningful relationships, takes initiative, stays organized, and enjoys strengthening a sense of community—while staying closely connected to the individuals and providers who make the work impactful.
You’ll play a central role in shaping service quality, supporting clients and providers, and ensuring everything we do aligns with both best practices and state requirements.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Maintain a consistent presence in residential settings through regular in-person and virtual visits, ensuring safe, respectful, and supportive environments
- Build and maintain strong relationships while serving as a key point of contact for families, providers, case managers, and community partners
- Ensure services meet all state and organizational requirements, staying current on regulations and best practices
- Complete and maintain accurate, timely documentation, including service plans, health and safety assessments, and related records
- Monitor overall quality of care and satisfaction for individuals, families, providers, and team members
- Support and retain Host Home and Family Care providers through ongoing communication, guidance, and training
- Participate in community events, provider meetings, and Summit Adventures activities, supporting connection and engagement
- Spend meaningful time with individuals through home visits, outings, and shared experiences
- Develop and oversee individualized supports, ensuring services align with each person’s needs, goals, and rights
- Travel regularly between service locations and meetings to support program needs
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in human services or a related field (or comparable experience)
- 2 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities – preferred experience in Residential or Case Management experience
- Prior experience in a leadership, coordination, or oversight role within residential or community-based services
- Working knowledge of Colorado’s IDD system and service expectations
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple moving pieces at once
- Strong self-direction ability
- Clear and professional communication style, both written and verbal
- Confidence in navigating complex or high-pressure situations
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel regularly for site visits (Home locations range from South Denver to Greeley, with weekly team meetings in Lafayette).
- Ability to meet background check and certification requirements
What Makes You a Great Fit
- You approach leadership with both empathy and accountability
- You are naturally proactive and don’t wait for problems to escalate
- You value structure and compliance, but also understand the importance of flexibility
- You enjoy working closely with people and building long-term, trust-based relationships
- You take pride in creating environments where individuals feel safe, respected, and supported
- You’re excited to be part of a close-knit team that works collaboratively and shares in each other’s success
Work Style & Environment
- Hybrid position with a mix of remote work from home and in-person meetings and visits
- Flexible scheduling with a focus on outcomes rather than rigid hours
- Regular presence in residential settings to stay connected to services
- Participation in on-call to support urgent needs and direction
Why Summit Supports

- Flexibility that allows for balance while still making a meaningful impact
