Overview:
Mountain Transit Authority is hiring full-time and part-time bus operators in the Summers County. This will include route drivers, drivers transporting for medical appointments, etc. If hired as full-time positions, we offer health insurance, paid personal leave, and retirement. If hired as part-time, we offer dental, vision, and paid personal leave.
Class C CDL with passenger endorsement or Class D License is required. If hired with a Class D License, the applicant must get their Class C CDL with passenger endorsement withing 90 days of hire. Must be 21 years old to apply due to insurance regulations. Each applicant must pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities
- Operate transit buses safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers, ensuring a pleasant travel experience.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and maintenance.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, including those with disabilities.
- Maintain accurate records of routes, schedules, and passenger counts.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members regarding any issues or delays.
