Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to ensure a positive shopping experience
- Assist customers with product selection, answering questions about features, benefits, and pricing
- Process cash transactions accurately using cash registers and POS systems, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Manage cash drawer operations, perform cash management tasks, and reconcile daily sales at shift end
- Support retail lending activities by explaining financial products and assisting with loan processing or collections as needed
- Maintain organized displays and ensure the store remains clean, welcoming, and well-stocked
- Enter data efficiently into retail software systems, including sales records, inventory updates, and customer information
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales or retail store experience (preferred)
- Strong customer service skills are essential
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math calculations
- Ability to perform data entry accurately using 10 key typing and other retail software tools.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting moderate loads when necessary.
