Duties

• Select items from storage locations using order picker equipment and barcode scanning technology to fulfill customer orders accurately.
• Pack products securely using appropriate packaging materials, ensuring quality control standards are met for safe delivery.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, reach truck, and other heavy equipment safely to load and unload shipments and move inventory within the warehouse.
• Use warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to track inventory levels, update stock records, and streamline order processing.
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks by verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and preparing outgoing deliveries for dispatch.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace by stocking shelves efficiently and adhering to safety protocols for manual handling and heavy lifting.
• Conduct regular inventory counts, update stock records, and report discrepancies to ensure accurate inventory management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers with familiarity in picking & packing processes.
• Ability to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in a hot or cold environment
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning for logistics, RF scanners, and inventory management systems.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely
• Strong basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities during order fulfillment.
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control.
• Mechanical aptitude or prior experience with mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation is a plus.

Pay: $16.00 per hour
