What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Supervisor position at Mountain Contractors Supply Group?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and hold accountable warehouse team
- Coordinate storage and distribution activities of the Branch warehouse and yard to ensure maximum utilization of facilities
- Review shipping or receiving orders and requests for movement of materials and products
- Develop team specific roles and daily tasks
- Jobs supervised include storing items in bins, on floors, or shelves in the storeroom, warehouse, or yard for removal, marking, or tagging articles for identification purposes, maintaining records of inventory, filling orders, issuing materials to office or production areas, and submitting requisitions for replacement stock
- Assist with design and implementation of work methods and operational procedures for activities, such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, cycle counting and keeping warehouse inventory current
- Inspect physical condition of warehouse and equipment, supervise the cleaning/order of warehouse and yard, prepare work order for repairs, and requisitions for replacement of equipment
- Review work processes, recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product or service, and suggests changes in working conditions to increase efficiency
- Supervise salvage or disposition of returned, damaged, or used material
- Keep accurate records; prepare and submit required paperwork
- May assist in hiring of warehouse personnel
- Train warehouse staff on proper policy and procedures
- Perform other various duties, as outlined by supervisor

Qualifications and Physical Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to participate in pre-employment and random drug screenings
- 2 years related experience
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Ability to work in excessively hot and cold conditions due to outside environment of warehouse
- OSHA regulated Steel Toe Shoes: Either an ASTM F243 M/I/50/C/50 or ANSI Z41 PT M/I/50/50. Or an ASTM F2413 F/I/50/C/50 or ANSI Z41 PT F/I/50/C/50
Monday - Friday from 7:00 AM - 4:00PM
Salary : $20 - $24
