Counter Sales

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure a high level of customer service is always provided
• Build and maintain connections with potential customers, or leads, to cultivate new business and develop relationships
• Ascertain the type of part, fixture, or supply needed
• Inspect worn, damaged, or defective parts to determine replacement required
• Informs the customer of part needed according to the description of malfunction or customer’s expressed need 
• Responsible for Pro-keep orders and communication through the program
• Maintain general understanding of part or fixture stock number and price, through training or reading online/catalog
• Find solution for customer orders through substitution or modification of part when a part is not available
• Pick and fulfill customer orders from stock using radio frequency gun (RF gun) technology
• May process orders or inquires over the phone
• May assist with loading customer orders on delivery trucks
• May handle products returns
• Perform other various duties, as outlined by supervisor

Qualifications and Physical Requirements: 

• 1 year of related experience
• Willingness to participate in pre-employment and random drug screenings
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Human relations skills; oral and written communication skills
