What are the responsibilities and job description for the Float Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) position at Mountain Community Health Partnership?
Mountain Community Health Partnership (MCHP) is seeking a full time Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) with the ability to float to all MCHP locations. The CMA will provide clinical, laboratory, and business office assistance under the supervision of the site coordinators, site director, physicians, mid-level practitioners, and nurse manager. The CMA acts as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers to maintain quality patient care. The CMA will be asked to work at all MCHP facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and verify information.
- Schedule appointments as needed.
- Maintain patient confidentiality.
- Collect and document patient data, including medical history and vital signs.
- Coordinate care by obtaining and tracking test results and consult records.
- Provide patient education and support.
- Participate in daily huddles and pre-planning for patient visits.

Qualifications:
- CMA (AAMA) certification and current BLS certification.
- Prior experience preferred, not required.
