Mountain Community Health Partnership (MCHP) is seeking a full time Behavioral Health Provider to join our school-based team in Mitchell County. This role is ideal for a licensed professional who is passionate about supporting students' mental health and well-being through evidence-based practices and collaborative care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct behavioral health assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
- Provide individual therapy using modalities of CBT, DBT, and solution-focused therapy.
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and community partners to support student needs.
- Respond to crises and provide emergency behavioral health services.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Participate in care team meetings, trainings, and community outreach.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master's degree in social work or counseling. Valid and current license to practice in NC (LCSW or LPC).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in primary care or school-based settings. Spanish language proficiency, preferred.
- Ability to travel to multiple school sites and community locations as required. Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
