F&B Shift Lead
General Purpose:
As a Shift Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will take on leadership duties during your shift, overseeing staff and maintaining smooth operations.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Bartending
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Take and serve orders accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash and card transactions, ensuring accurate accounting.
Shift Lead
- Oversee daily operations during your shift, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Assist in training and supervising staff.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Ensure all staff adhere to company policies and standards.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies.
- Collaborate with management to improve processes and customer service.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- 3 years experience as a shift lead or supervisory experience is required.
- Excellent knowledge of restaurant operations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol 21 .
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items such as kegs, if needed.
- Previous scheduling and inventory experience for a team of 10 (or less) employees. .
- Willingness to learn and become proficient at our point of sale system and online ordering system- Sysmanager.
- Flexible schedule, including availability on nights, weekends, and holidays.
Education and Experience:
Education:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or GED is typically required. Higher education or specialized training in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field is a plus.
- Certifications: Food safety and responsible alcohol service certifications Serv Safe and TIPS are required.
Experience:
- Bartending Experience: Proven experience as a bartender, typically at least 1-2 years. This includes a solid understanding of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
- Leadership Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory or lead role within the hospitality industry is highly desirable. This could be as a shift lead, team leader, or similar position.
- Customer Service: Strong background in providing exceptional customer service. Experience handling customer inquiries, complaints, and problem resolution is important.
- Operational Knowledge: Experience with restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management.
- Team Management: Experience in training, supervising, and motivating staff. Ability to manage a team effectively during busy shifts.
- Multi-Tasking: Proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
