Position Summary
The Bag Check Attendant provides secure, friendly, and efficient storage services for the guests’ personal belongings while delivering exceptional guest service. This role helps ensure a positive guest experience by maintaining an organized bag check area and safeguarding guests’ items throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities

Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner

Receive, tag, store, and retrieve guests’ bags, backpacks, and personal items accurately

Maintain an organized and secure bag storage area

Verify claim tickets before releasing stored items

Answer guest questions and provide information about mountain facilities and services

Monitor the bag check area to ensure the safety and security of store belongings
-
Report lost, damaged, or suspicious items according to mountain procedures

Follow all cash handling procedures

Complete required training as assigned by mountain leadership

Accurately record all hours worked, ensure time entries are complete, and promptly resolve any discrepancies prior to the end of each pay period

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods of time and perform repetitive physical tasks

Ability to work in an indoor location subject to temperature fluctuations, drafts, and intermittent exposure to outdoor weather conditions due to frequent operation of exterior doors

Ability to work in busy, sometimes noisy environment

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation: $17.50/hour
