Position Summary
The Custodian plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff in assigned areas across the ski mountain property. This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing dining areas, restrooms, and other guest facing resort facilities to ensure a high standard of cleanliness throughout the season.
Key Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize restrooms, dining areas, seating areas, and other guest-facing spaces

Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors in guest facing areas including Red Barn and Mountain Room

Conduct routine checks of dining room and guest facing areas to ensure cleanliness

Conduct routine checks at the base of the mountain for debris and ensure all litter is properly disposed of

Empty trash and recycling receptacles and replace liners
-
Refill supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper

Remove snow and ice from entryways as needed
-
Assist with setup and breakdown for events or special functions

Report maintenance issues, hazards, or equipment needs to mountain leadership

Follow proper chemical handling and cleaning procedures, wearing PPE when required

Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies

Respond promptly to guest and staff cleanliness requests

Complete required trainings as assigned by mountain leadership

Accurately record all hours worked, ensure time entries are complete, and promptly resolve any discrepancies prior to the end of each pay period

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older

Strong attention to detail

Ability to work independently

Dependable and punctual with reliable transportation

Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays

Must be eligible to work in the United States

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation: $17.50/hour
