Your Role as an LPN
As an LPN at VPI, you’ll be a key player in maintaining the health and safety of our students, working alongside a skilled and compassionate medical team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and routine immunizations
- Assist physicians during medical and psychiatric visits
- Implement medical orders and follow-up care
- Coordinate with pharmacies for timely medication delivery
- Maintain accurate health records (digital and paper)
- Communicate with families and agencies regarding student health
- Accompany students to medical appointments and act as a liaison
- Uphold confidentiality and professional standards
- Participate in staff meetings and support organizational policies
What We’re Looking For
- Valid LPN license
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to student care
- Familiarity with medical office procedures and confidentiality standards
