Certified Academic (Humanities) Classroom Teacher (NH License Required)

Up to $50,000 year based on experience
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM

As a Certified Classroom Teacher, you’ll lead a small classroom of residential students, delivering engaging, standards-based instruction while supporting their behavioral and emotional growth.
You’ll collaborate closely with our academic and clinical teams to create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment.
- Plan and deliver daily lessons in your subject area
- Create assignments, tests, and learning activities
- Track and assess student progress
- Support and implement IEP goals
- Maintain documentation (lesson plans, grades, reports)
- Manage classroom behavior using supportive interventions
- Supervise and guide teaching assistants
- Participate in team meetings, training, and curriculum development

- Bachelor’s degree required
- NH DOE Teaching Certification (required or in progress)
- Experience teaching middle or high school preferred
- Experience working with youth (education, coaching, counseling, etc.)
- Passion for working with students with behavioral or emotional needs
- Special education or alternative education experience
- Background working with students with mental health or behavioral challenges
