Certified Academic (Humanity) Classroom Teacher (NH License Required) Pike, New Hampshire Up to $50,000 year based on experience Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM Make a Lasting Impact Mount Prospect Academy (MPA) is seeking Certified Teachers to join our mission-driven team supporting adolescents in a therapeutic educational setting. About the Role As a Certified Classroom Teacher, you’ll lead a small classroom of residential students, delivering engaging, standards-based instruction while supporting their behavioral and emotional growth. You’ll collaborate closely with our academic and clinical teams to create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment. What You’ll Do Plan and deliver daily lessons in your subject area Create assignments, tests, and learning activities Track and assess student progress Support and implement IEP goals Maintain documentation (lesson plans, grades, reports) Manage classroom behavior using supportive interventions Supervise and guide teaching assistants Participate in team meetings, training, and curriculum development About Mount Prospect Academy Founded in 1964, MPA is a growing nonprofit organization providing education and mental health services to youth who need specialized support.
