Packaging & Production Technician
Mount Olympus Manufacturing is hiring a dependable and detail-oriented Packaging & Production Technician for our production facility in Canastota, New York.
Please note: This position is physically located in Canastota, NY and requires reliable transportation to our Canastota facility. We welcome applicants from Syracuse, Utica, Rome, Oneida and surrounding Central New York communities who are comfortable commuting to Canastota. This is not a remote position.
What You’ll Do
As a Packaging & Production Technician, you’ll work hands-on with our production team to prepare, package, label, inspect, and organize finished products.
Responsibilities include:
- Package finished products accurately and efficiently.
- Count, weigh, fill, seal, and label products according to company procedures.
- Prepare jars, containers, labels, boxes, and other materials for packaging runs.
- Inspect products and packaging for quality, accuracy, and consistency.
- Verify labels and packaging before products are completed.
- Maintain accurate product and packaging counts.
- Assemble boxes and prepare completed products for inventory and distribution.
- Keep packaging stations clean, sanitary, and organized.
- Clean equipment, tools, containers, and work surfaces between production runs.
- Assist with preparing materials for upcoming production and packaging runs.
- Follow company SOPs, safety procedures, sanitation requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Communicate damaged materials, packaging errors, or quality concerns to management.
- Work with the production team to meet daily goals.
- Assist with additional production responsibilities as needed.

- Previous packaging, manufacturing, production, assembly, warehouse, or similar experience is preferred but not required.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
