Job Description
Mount Olympus Manufacturing is hiring a Cannabis Production Associate to assist with daily manufacturing operations. This position involves hands-on production work, including pre-roll manufacturing, material preparation, weighing finished products, inventory tracking, and assisting with other production needs.
We're looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position requires flexibility, as daily responsibilities may change depending on production schedules.
Responsibilities
- Assist with pre-roll production, including preparing materials, filling, weighing, finishing, and counting pre-rolls
- Operate pre-roll production equipment after training
- Prepare and weigh cannabis materials for production
- Weigh, count, and document finished products
- Inspect products for quality, accuracy, and consistency
- Assist with inventory counts and material tracking
- Prepare supplies and materials for upcoming production runs
- Maintain accurate production records and batch documentation
- Assist with packaging, labeling, and organizing finished goods when needed
- Monitor production materials and report shortages or discrepancies
- Follow company procedures, safety guidelines, and state cannabis regulations
- Keep production areas clean and organized
- Support other manufacturing departments as needed
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent attendance
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks and working with production equipment
- Ability to accurately weigh, count, and record materials
- Able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Willingness to learn and assist with different production tasks
- Previous cannabis, manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience preferred but not required
Schedule & Compensation
This is a full-time, on-site position at our manufacturing facility in Canastota, NY.
Compensation is based on experience. Employee benefits are not currently offered.
