Job Title: Afternoon Granola Bar Packing Associate

Department: Production / Packaging
Reports To: Shift Supervisor or Production Lead
Shift: Afternoon Shift (e.g., 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM, flexible based on production needs)

Position Summary:

The Afternoon Granola Bar Packing Associate is responsible for efficiently and safely packaging granola bars according to quality and production standards. This role supports the afternoon shift in meeting daily production goals while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor packaging equipment to ensure continuous and efficient operation.
• Inspect granola bars for quality, ensuring proper size, weight, and appearance.
• Package finished products according to company specifications (e.g., wrapping, boxing, labeling).
• Maintain accurate counts and documentation of packaged products.
• Perform basic cleaning and maintenance of work area and equipment.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
• Communicate promptly with supervisors regarding equipment issues or product defects.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve production goals.
• Participate in shift changeovers and assist with start-up or shut-down tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in food production, packaging, or manufacturing is a plus.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment:

• Clean food production facility with moderate noise levels.
• May require hairnets, gloves, and other food safety gear.
• Standing, bending, and repetitive motions required throughout shift.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
