Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Machine Operator to set up, maintain and operate machinery. You’ll ensure the interminable and efficient running of production. Excellent benefits, two 12-hour shifts to choose from.
A great machine operator is reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. On-the-job training is a good way to discover how to do the job better, so you should have a willingness to learn and improve. Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers.
The goal will be to ensure that production procedures will be carried on smoothly to maximize efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Be present for all scheduled shifts.
- Setting up machines to start a production cycle
- Controlling and adjusting machine settings.
- Feeding raw material or parts into semi-automated machines.
- Utilize tooling and precision measuring instruments to ensure specifications are met.
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance on machines to ensure operational efficiency.
- Handle materials safely and efficiently throughout the manufacturing process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of tooling, and precision measuring instruments.
- Experience working with manufacturing equipment is preferred.
- Excellent mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Ability to perform materials handling tasks safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Available Shifts
- “A” Shift – 8:00 pm to 8:00 am (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, every other Saturday night)
- C-Shift - 8pm to 8:00 am (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, every other Saturday night)
- "D" Shift - 8:00 am to 8:00 pm Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Sunday
