Job Summary

As a CNA Med Tech at Mount Joseph at Waterville, you will play a vital role in our healthcare team. Your primary responsibility will be to administer medications on your assigned unit in accordance with established procedures, and perform other duties as directed by your supervisor. You will also be responsible for ensuring that our residents receive high-quality care designed to meet their physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.

Responsibilities

• Record all entries on Medication Administration Record (MAR)

• Use the photo card in vision to identify residents before administering medications, fluids, etc.

• Report all accidents and incidents you observe on the shift

• Use only authorized abbreviations established by this facility when recording information

• Report all changes in the resident’s condition to the Charge Nurse as soon as practical

• Assist CNA's with resident care as needed

Requirements

• Must be a certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent

• Must be able to lift, push, or pull a minimum of 50 pounds

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
