Mount Indie is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist in San Diego, CA. The Accounts Payable Specialist will ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, obtain proper approvals, match invoices against purchase orders, code invoices, research and resolve discrepancies.What you’ll do:Review and process invoices and check requests in accordance with Company policies and proceduresProcess expense reports including review for compliance with the Company travel policy and government contractor guidelinesEnters Credit card transactionsResearch and resolve invoice discrepancies and issuesCorrespond with internal customers and vendors and respond to inquiriesAssist in identifying cost control opportunities and other projects as neededReports to Accounting ManagerOther duties may be assignedRequirementsAbility to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by government standardsSkilled at organizing and prioritizing workflow to meet deadlinesAbility to interact effectively with peers and supervisorsAbility to interact appropriately with the publicAbility to adhere to workplace rules and policies and proceduresAbility to analyze and solve problemsStrong computer skills and ability to multi-task within multiple systems and across projectsExcellent written and oral communication skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently or as a team and adapt as neededProficient in Excel preferredU.S. citizenship Nice to have:High School diploma or equivalentMinimum 3 years demonstrated Accounts Payable experience working in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of accounting policies and practicesExperience with PO processing (3-way match)Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, Deltek Costpoint preferredExperience with expense reports for government strongly preferredExperience working in a government contracting environment preferred
