Currently, we are seeking a Full-Time payroll analystto add to our organization. This is a great opportunity for an individual to learn and grow their Finance and Human Resources Experience.
Payroll Specialist:
Under the general supervision of the CFO the payroll specialist is responsible for the preparation and disbursement of the biweekly processing of payroll.
- Works closely with data entry, benefits, and garnishments during processing to ensure all processes are timely and accurate.
- Reviews computed wages and correct errors to ensure the accuracy of earnings.
- Makes sure all changes to payroll are processed correctly via a mandatory edit process.
- Maintain accurate payroll processes including the check log.
- Completes the payroll processing check list and follows directions regarding authorization levels.
- Process manual checks as requested.
- Runs payroll edit reports, balances, and ensures accuracy of Payroll.
- Posts the payroll which creates positive pay and direct deposit files.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to work independently and confidentially.
- Ability to organize workload, adapt quickly to change, and deliver under the pressure of deadlines.
Required:
- ADP Workforce Now (1 year required)
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge of Microsoft word, excel and spreadsheets.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize assigned projects to meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, customers, and vendors.
- Self-motivated; ability to take on assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
- Good math/accounting aptitude
- Must be detail oriented.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Payroll Processing: 1 year (Preferred)
- ADP Workforce NOW Software: 1 year (Required)
- Microsoft Excel/Outlook/Microsoft Softwares: 1 year (Preferred)
