What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll Analyst position at Hansae Mobility US Manufacturing?
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Analyst to support payroll operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for analyzing payroll data, resolving discrepancies, identifying trends and developing actionable recommendations to improve payroll processes, while ensuring adherence to state and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Audit payroll data to ensure accuracy, balance payroll accounts and manage tax filings.
- Generate reports on payroll expenditures, taxes, and benefits for management or audits.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and company policies
- Perform data reconciliations between payroll and other systems, investigating and resolving any discrepancies
- Maintain payroll records and support audits
- Generate reports on labor costs, overtime, and workforce metrics
- Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, gather data requirements and streamline data flows.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
- 2–5 years of of experience as a payroll analyst or similar role (manufacturing environment preferred)
- Proficiency in data analysis tools, such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, or other data manipulation software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and present complex data in a clear and meaningful way.
- Knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws and compliance requirements.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage confidential information
Work Authorization
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
