Role Overview
We’re seeking an experienced A-Tech with strong metal, structural, and aluminum repair skills. The ideal candidate works efficiently under flat-rate systems, follows OEM repair procedures, and takes pride in delivering factory-level quality every time.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural and non-structural repairs on late-model vehicles following OEM standards
- Conduct aluminum and steel welding, panel replacement, and blueprint reading for repair planning
- Utilize measuring systems (Car-O-Liner, Chief, Celette) to ensure frame accuracy
- Execute disassembly/reassembly (DRT) efficiently with minimal supervision
- Document work performed and collaborate closely with estimators and painters
- Maintain an organized, safe, and clean workspace
- Participate in continued I-CAR and OEM training programs
Preferred Experience & Certifications
- 5 years in collision repair, with consistent productivity above 120%
- I-CAR Platinum and/or ASE Master Collision certification preferred
- OEM repair experience with Honda, Nissan, Ford, and Hyundai
- Familiarity with CCC One or similar estimating software
- Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and communication skills
Compensation & Benefits
- $40/hr base pay until 70 flag hours
- $250 weekly bonus after 70 hours
- Transition to $28/flag-hour pay after 80 hours
