Sullivan Motors is seeking an Auto Body Technician to join our growing reconditioning department. We are looking for a skilled professional who takes pride in quality workmanship, works efficiently, and can restore vehicles to pre-accident condition while maintaining high production standards.
What does an Auto Body Technician Do?
- Repair collision damage on a variety of makes and models
- Replace and repair damaged body panels
- Straighten sheet metal and repair dents
- Perform non-structural body repairs
- Remove and install bumpers, doors, fenders, hoods, trim, lights, and glass
- Weld and fabricate as needed
- Prepare repaired panels for the paint department
- Inspect vehicles to ensure repairs meet quality standards
- Work efficiently while maintaining exceptional craftsmanship
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- 3 years of professional collision repair experience
- Ability to perform complete body repairs with minimal supervision
- Ability to read repair estimates and execute repairs accurately
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- I-CAR certification is a plus but not required
