We are looking for a Technical Writing Lead with deep expertise in IT documentation and proven leadership skills. This role combines hands-on technical writing with team leadership, process governance, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will drive documentation strategy, mentor a team of writers, and ensure high-quality deliverables that support onboarding, training, and organizational knowledge transfer.
What You Will Be Doing
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of technical writers to build a cohesive, high-performing unit.
- Balance team workload and ensure alignment with project milestones and timelines.
- Drive toward the big picture while managing detailed deliverables.
- Collaborate across multiple teams to align documentation needs and outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels for clarity on deliverables and expectations.
- Establish and reinforce processes for quality review and accuracy standards in documentation.
- Integrate governance requirements to ensure sustainability and compliance of documentation practices.
- Oversee documentation strategies that support onboarding, training, and upskilling across the organization.
- Maintain hands-on involvement in technical writing tasks as needed.
