What are the responsibilities and job description for the SNOW Dev Administrator / Developer / Onsite / Columbus / Ohio position at Motion Recruitment Partners, LLC?
This is a long-term contract ServiceNow Developer/Administrator opportunity located in Columbus, Ohio (onsite 5 days/week) supporting a large-scale public sector digital transformation initiative. This role is heavily focused on the ServiceNow platform, including administration, scripting, upgrades, and platform optimization across ITSM environments.
This is a high-impact role where you'll essentially own the "run" side of the ServiceNow platform while still contributing to ongoing development efforts. The biggest draw here is the level of ownership-you'll be leading upgrades, ensuring platform stability at a 99.9% uptime level, and playing a critical role in maintaining and evolving a system that directly supports large-scale government operations. If you're someone who enjoys being the go-to expert, working on complex upgrades, and having visibility across both infrastructure and development, this is a strong opportunity to grow within a mission-driven environment.

4 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow administration and development
Strong experience with JavaScript, Glide API, and web technologies (HTML/CSS)
Experience developing Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and UI Actions
Proven experience leading ServiceNow platform upgrades and patching cycles
Experience managing user access, roles, and group permissions
Hands-on experience with CMDB management and Service Catalog administration
Ability to troubleshoot platform performance and resolve incidents
Ability to work onsite 5 days/week in Columbus, OH
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required
Desired Skills & Experience
Experience with IntegrationHub and Flow Designer
Familiarity with FedRAMP or government cloud security standards
Experience working within ITIL v4 frameworks
