Job Title: Dispatcher
Job Type: 1-Year Contract
Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM–1:30 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. May include nights, weekends, and mandatory overtime.
Pay: $17/hour
Location:
100% on-site at a new facility in North Canton, OH 44720.
Training:
Two weeks. Week 1: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Week 2: schedule aligned with long-term shift assignment.
Role Summary:
Provide Call Management System scheduling support to customers, service delivery team members, field associates, and business management. Share responsibility for meeting customer service performance expectations.
Qualifications:
- Customer service experience required (banking, call center, field service, or high-volume scheduling preferred)
- Reliable and dependable
- Strong logic and business efficiency skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Team-oriented and customer-focused
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to learn new systems/software quickly
- Associate degree preferred
Responsibilities:
- Monitor real-time operations of the Call Management System to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met and Customer Service Engineers (CSEs) are fully assigned to calls
- Track and document CSE unavailability for emergencies and notify business teams
- Review call lists, determine urgency, and schedule appropriately with CSEs, business teams, and customers
- Use geographic and team knowledge to provide feedback to improve efficiency
- Participate in conference calls as required
- Escalate urgent service needs and CSE-related issues to management
- Assist in training new coordinators on the Call Management System
- Handle customer escalation requests, including ETAs, part updates, and appointment confirmations
- Communicate estimated arrival times to customers as needed
- Support field technicians via phone and email
