- Handle various cleaning agents and chemicals safely, adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel protocols
- Perform floor care duties including vacuuming, mopping, and polishing to maintain spotless surfaces
- Manage heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or supplies while following manual handling safety procedures
- Restock amenities and supplies in guest rooms to ensure comfort and convenience for visitors
- Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly and accurately in case of incidents or safety concerns
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, sanitation standards, and equipment maintenance
Skills
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping, janitorial work, or industrial cleaning environments
- Strong knowledge of floor cleaning techniques and floor care products
- Ability to handle cleaning equipment efficiently including vacuums, buffers, and steamers
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude towards guests and team members
