What are the responsibilities and job description for the Motel 6: Housekeeper/Houseperson position at Motel 6 / Studio 6?
We are looking for a responsible Housekeeper to maintain and clean our facilities. It will be important for you and other housekeeping staff to clean and tidy rooms per hotel standard. Candidates must be in good physical and medical condition, as they might need to walk up steps, push housekeeping cart around property, and move mattresses occasionally.
Responsibilities
- Clean rooms per hotel standard.
- Remove trash from rooms.
- Sweep and mop all floors.
- Wipe down and clean doors, surfaces, mirrors, windows, and ACs in and outside rooms.
- Wash and sanitize toilets, sinks, showers and shower area.
- Restock towels and disposable items such as toilet paper and soap.
- Make beds per hotel standard.
- Report any damages that houseperson my have missed.
- Report any pests problems.
- Occasionally Assist in Laundry or with Houseperson work.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
