Duties
- Take preventative maintenance measures often to ensure challenges are resolved prior to guest check-in
- Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, appliances, and other mechanical equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend lifespan
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) systems using schematics and technical manuals
- Conduct appliance repairs and service technician tasks efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests during or outside of work to ensure safety and operational continuity (highly-valued)
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance
- Proficiency in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, air conditioning, and related mechanical systems
- Service technician experience with a focus on diagnosing and resolving system failures efficiently
- Excellent problem-solving abilities combined with attention to detail for precise repairs and inspections
