Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through appropriate floor care techniques such as sweeping, scrubbing, and polishing
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and amenities to ensure guest satisfaction
- Handle laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels
- Follow safety protocols related to industrial cleaning and custodial procedures
- Report maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Adhere to established health and safety standards to ensure a safe environment for all staff and guests
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as needed
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles; hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of service
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues promptly
- Familiarity with custodial equipment and industrial cleaning tools is a plus
- Experience managing housekeeping operations or supervising staff is advantageous for leadership roles within housekeeping management
Pay: $9.00 - $24.20 per hour
