Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Test Technician based in Crown Point, IN or Northwest, IN. The Test Technician will be responsible for conducting equipment tests, performing troubleshooting and calibration, and utilizing test equipment to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate documentation and collaborating with the team to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications
- Experience with Troubleshooting technical issues and diagnosing problems with equipment
- Strong Communication skills to effectively convey findings and collaborate with team members
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records
- Ability to follow safety protocols in on-site and testing environments
- Pack equipment as instructed by warehouse staff for a variety of projects in order to become familiar with the air test equipment including nozzles, thermocouples, pitots, probes, probe liners, filter holders, filter ovens, impingers, umbilicals, and meter boxes.
- Participate in projects following instructions provided by the Test Engineer, pushing probe correctly, measuring static pressure and performing a wet bulb/dry bulb measurement for moisture.
- Understand and follow Company policies and procedures as directed by your supervisor and as specified in the Employee Handbook
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field is a plus
- Prior experience in a similar role and familiarity with environmental testing is a plus
