Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role as a Test Technician, located in Allentown, PA. The Test Technician will be responsible for operating and maintaining test equipment, performing troubleshooting, conducting calibrations, and assisting with environmental testing procedures. The role involves working closely with teams to ensure accurate data collection, compliance with industry standards, and maintaining clear communication throughout projects.
Qualifications
- Experience with Troubleshooting technical issues and diagnosing problems with equipment
- Strong Communication skills to effectively convey findings and collaborate with team members
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records
- Ability to follow safety protocols in on-site and testing environments
- Pack equipment as instructed by warehouse staff for a variety of projects in order to become familiar with the air test equipment including nozzles, thermocouples, pitots, probes, probe liners, filter holders, filter ovens, impingers, umbilicals, and meter boxes.
- Participate in projects following instructions provided by the Test Engineer, pushing probe correctly, measuring static pressure and performing a wet bulb/dry bulb measurement for moisture.
- Understand and follow Company policies and procedures as directed by your supervisor and as specified in the Employee Handbook
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field is a plus
- Prior experience in a similar role and familiarity with environmental testing is a plus
