What You’ll Do
- Provide excellent preventive and periodontal care
- Complete thorough patient assessments, periodontal charting, radiographs, and clinical documentation
- Identify periodontal conditions and appropriate opportunities for SRP and continued maintenance
- Educate patients about their oral health and recommended care in a way they can understand
- Partner with dentists during co-diagnosis and treatment planning
- Use digital imaging, CBCT, intraoral photography, and scanning technology
- Help patients feel comfortable, informed, and genuinely cared for
- Review your schedule and patient records before the clinical day begins
- Maintain an organized, stocked, and procedure-ready operatory
- Support efficient patient flow without sacrificing clinical quality
- Follow OSHA, HIPAA, infection-control, and patient-safety requirements
- Communicate important patient information clearly across the clinical and front-office teams
- Participate prepared in morning huddles
- Contribute to a professional, collaborative, and positive office culture

Qualifications
- Active Tennessee Registered Dental Hygienist license
- At least one year of clinical hygiene experience preferred
- Strong periodontal assessment, charting, SRP identification, and patient-education skills
- Confidence partnering with dentists during co-diagnosis and treatment planning
- Knowledge of infection-control and sterilization requirements
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work effectively in a productive, fast-paced clinical environment
Experience with digital workflows, CBCT, intraoral scanners, dental imaging, practice-management software, or treatment-acceptance conversations is preferred.

Schedule
Clinical providers work a four-day workweek. Exact scheduled days will be discussed during the interview process.
Clinic patient hours are 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Team members arrive before patient hours prepared for morning huddle and the clinical day.
