What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vice President of Construction position at Morrow & Associates?
We are working with a privately held real estate developer to identify a senior leader to oversee the development and construction of a ~$200M, ground-up, federal healthcare project currently moving forward in Texas.
This is a Project Executive/Owner's Rep type position - someone who will take full ownership of the project from early-stage planning through construction and delivery.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be the point person responsible for driving the project forward, working closely with internal leadership, third-party consultants, and the general contractor.
- Oversee the project from predevelopment through construction completion
- Coordinate design, entitlements, and development activities
- Manage the GC, consultants, and overall project execution
- Ensure the project stays on schedule, on budget, and aligned with all requirements
- Interface with public sector stakeholders and regulatory agencies
What they’re looking for
- 10 years of experience in healthcare and/or governmental real estate development and construction management
- Strong background in government-related real estate development, particularly GSA, VA, or other federal lease-driven projects, preferred
- Proven experience managing complex development projects from site selection through construction completion
- Expertise in development project budgeting
- Experience coordinating entitlements, zoning approvals, and municipal processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
